who should be your 3D users and who to start with? depending on how your creation process is set up, a certain function might be pretty useless to start off with because of being purely dependent on content which should be created by others. if your designers do not touch or know patterns then pattern makers or factory technicians should probably be your initial starting point. at the same time, keeping change management in mind you might want to rethink certain roles and how they should change in responsibility going forward. do you want your current staff to be adopting 3D in their daily workflows or do you need new functions such as 3D evangelist, librarians and 3D artists? should those be helping out in the initial face, hence be created as temporary head counts, or do you plan them in permanently?
